Vouch has always assumed a wide monitor. On a phone the two panes of a profile fought each other for room and the chrome ran off the edge, so you opened candidates on a laptop or not at all. That is what the last week and a bit went on.
New
- Profiles collapse to one column. Below 768 pixels a candidate, vouch, relevancy or event profile stops trying to be two panes side by side. What lived in the sidebar moves into the main tab strip, or sits inline underneath it, and a pane for creating something opens on top of the profile instead of squeezing in beside it. The fullscreen button goes away, since the profile already fills the screen, and the action bar steps aside while a pane is open.
- The content viewer sizes itself. Under 1400 pixels it opens full width the first time, then remembers whichever way you left it, rather than deciding again on every open.
Improved
- The chrome scales down. Text sizes, padding and panel widths now step at each breakpoint across the business sidebar and sub-sidebar, the header, the screening table, template pickers, Slack settings, event profiles and the Chrome extension, so a narrow window stops pushing things past the edge.
- Candidate profiles are organised into tabs. Overview, Profile, Processes, Timeline and Files. Events, tasks, the AI summary, sourcing and retention gather under Overview, and Profile is down to key details, experience and files, so there is less competing for one screen at any moment. Timeline is its own tab rather than something folded into the overview.
- Read the resume instead of the timeline. Experience has a toggle between the structured timeline and the CV itself, shown inline, and PDFs open fit to width instead of at whatever zoom they were authored for.
- Sidebars remember how you left them. Whether you left a profile's sidebar open or closed, and how wide you dragged it, survives a reload now, on all four profile types.
- A job's candidates page sheds its TO DO checklist on a narrow screen instead of crowding the header with it.
Fixed
- Calendars started the week on Sunday for everyone. Norwegian users opened a booking page to Søn through Lør. Week start now follows your regional format, so nb-NO, sv-SE, da-DK and en-GB start on Monday and en-US stays on Sunday. The booking date picker, the month and week views, and the "Week N" label all move together.
