Rebuilt candidate views, inbox triage, and plain text listings

The talent pool and a job's candidates now share one set of inline filters, saved views, and a table that sorts and resizes. The inbox opens on your own threads, listings can render as plain text, and Finn tells you whether the ad is actually live.

A week spent on the four surfaces you sit in longest: the talent pool, a job's candidates, the inbox, and the listing editor.

New

  • The talent pool, rebuilt. The filter modal is gone. Client, jobs, stage, status, tags, source and assignee are inline facets that apply as you set them, and everything you've picked reads back as removable chips. Status now includes Out of process, with a drill-down into your own rejection categories, alongside quick filters for never viewed, never contacted, and added in the last 7, 30 or 90 days. All candidates and Mine are built-in views; any other combination shows as Custom, with a Save view button beside it.
  • Cards and a table you can shape. Choose which fields appear on a card, from tagline and last activity to top skills and the AI summary. In the table, every column sorts both ways, columns drag to resize, and there are new optional columns for source, seniority, salary, availability, consent, skills, languages, CV and contact details. Cards also carry process depth: the furthest milestone a candidate has reached, with a filter for it.
  • The same filters on a job's candidates. Kanban and the screening table share one navbar now: multi-assignee, source, sorting with an explicit direction, and the pool's search, which reaches location, contact details and the AI summary. With a filter on, column counts read "n of total". Columns and cards you have shared carry a share glyph, whether you shared by link or by email, and the tooltip names who has access.
  • An inbox that starts with your own threads. A Mine and All toggle, defaulting to Mine, plus filters for assigned to me, following, and reply status. Every card says whether it is awaiting a reply or has been replied to.
  • Plain text job listings. A layout switch on the listing. Sections stay structured underneath, so the choice is reversible, and any single section can pin its own style. Generation, listing chat and per-section rewrites all follow the layout, and job board exports keep the section order and drop emoji from plain sections.
  • A status tab for Finn. Published Finn channels split into Status and Configuration. Status checks finn.no and tells you whether the ad is live, with a refresh and the last failed update. Re-sending an ad now picks between a draft and an in-place update on its own, and AI prefill is a Suggest with AI button instead of something that fires on page load.
  • Settings split into two hubs. Company settings is workspace-only, grouped into Company, Hiring defaults, Integrations and Legal, with a live status line on each card. Your settings is new, reached from the avatar menu, holding your account, notifications, calendar and booking links, meeting assistant and Chrome extension.
  • Custom domains can land on the job board. A verified domain can serve either the full career page or a dedicated jobs page. Career pages, discovery and the jobs page share one board with search, filters, and grid and list views.
  • A confirmation email when someone connects through your careers page. A new template with a preview, editable under Settings → Communications.
  • Career pages in the public API. Paginated endpoints for career pages and the positions on them, in the OpenAPI spec and the docs.

Improved

  • The board updates while you watch. When a colleague moves a candidate, the columns they touched and the counts refresh on their own, and a card you are dragging is left alone until your own move settles.
  • A diff between listing versions. The version preview marks what changed since the version before it.
  • Hide the pitch and highlights block. One toggle keeps it off the public page, out of exports, and out of what the AI reads.
  • RecMan imports have more control. Skip untreated applicants, re-import candidates that came across before, and a fuller pipeline stage mapping.
  • Public forms are rate limited. Unauthenticated actions have per-IP and overall limits, and one email address can only receive so much, so a careers page cannot be used to bury someone in mail.

Fixed

  • Discovery listed jobs that were not live. It shows only published, active jobs that are actually listed on the catalog page, and pausing or expiring one takes effect at once instead of waiting out the cache.
  • Adding a candidate to a job no longer files an application on their behalf. "Add as applicant" is now "Add directly", so an application row means someone actually applied.
