Highlights
Need to have
Master's degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Maintenance, or a closely related field.
Solid fundamentals in materials and degradation mechanisms (corrosion, fatigue, fracture), and knowledge of mechanical/structural integrity.
Working proficiency in Norwegian for operational and safety-critical communication, ensuring effective collaboration with offshore crews and understanding of local documentation.
Valid EEA work permit and the ability to work from relevant office locations (Trondheim, Stavanger, or Fornebu).
Nice to have
Relevant experience from studies, internships, or summer jobs in oil & gas, energy, process/maritime, or other heavy industry.
Lab or research work on materials/corrosion, or academic/thesis projects on integrity, degradation, or inspection.
Exposure to data analysis tools (e.g., Python), data visualization, and knowledge of/experience with AI models/agents and digital/automated inspection methods.
Strong academic results, particularly in materials and integrity-relevant courses.
A self-starter who takes ownership of learning and actively contributes to continuous improvement.
