Highlights
Need to have
Final year student or recent graduate with an M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering.
Strong fundamental understanding of process engineering principles (thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, mass/energy balance, chemical reactions).
Proficiency in Norwegian and fluent in English.
Strong analytical skills, able to connect calculations and data to practical decisions.
Curiosity for complex, real-world operational challenges and process optimization.
Nice to have
Academic achievement with a 'B' average or higher (or equivalent), or 'C' average with strong relevant experience.
Relevant experience (internships, academic projects, thesis) in process engineering, oil & gas operations, or PVT.
Working knowledge or eagerness to learn process simulation and data analysis tools (e.g., Unisim, Resolve, PVT-Sim, Aize, Charts, Canvas, PI-Vision, SeeQ, Cowork); Python knowledge is a plus.
A self-starter who takes ownership of learning and development.
A collaborative team player who actively shares knowledge and contributes.
An adaptable mindset, open to understanding other domains like well, petroleum, PVT, and allocation.
A drive to continuously improve processes and challenge the status quo.
Clear and concise communication skills for office and asset teams.
Bridge the gap between AI theory and operational reality.
