What you'll bring

2-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, growth, or business development.

Fluency to work with customers in both Norwegian and English

Demonstrated ability to independently manage and close entire sales processes, from initial outreach to negotiation and closing.

Capacity to sell complex solutions based on inherent value and substance, rather than relying on superficial pitches.

Ability to authentically connect with and earn the trust of fishing communities, understanding their unique needs and challenges to build lasting relationships.

Not afraid to step onto fishing vessels and get ocean on your shoes.

Bonus points if you have

A structured, analytical mindset with curiosity for identifying and driving commercial results, leveraging CRM systems and data.

High motivation for taking responsibility and continuous learning within a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

Interest in complex, real-world industries like commercial fisheries and a knack for understanding demanding customer needs.

Willingness to travel 1-3 times per month for customer meetings and sales activities.

Ability to contribute to defining ideal customer profiles (ICPs), segmentation, messaging, and overall go-to-market strategies.

The Role
Catchwise is building the leading decision-support platform for commercial fisheries. With strong customer traction, a sharp team, and solid funding, we're now scaling our commercial capacity. As a Growth Manager, you will take end-to-end responsibility for defined parts of our commercial work, helping to drive our expansion across Norway and selected international markets.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership, working closely with our CCO, CEO, and other Growth Managers. You'll run sales processes from outreach to closing, engage directly with skippers, vessel owners, and fishing companies, and actively contribute to refining our go-to-market strategies. You will also maintain a high-quality pipeline and CRM structure, using data to improve conversion, and translate customer insights directly into product priorities.

Who You Are
We're seeking an individual with immense energy, drive, and a hunger to build something significant. You have a proven track record (2-5 years) in B2B sales, growth, or business development, and are ready to step into a role with high ownership and leadership potential. You possess a unique ability to authentically connect with and earn the trust of demanding customers, particularly within traditional industries like fisheries. While direct fisheries experience isn't required, a genuine interest in understanding their world is paramount. You are proactive, structured, analytical, and thrive in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment, constantly seeking to learn, take responsibility, and drive tangible results. You are fluent in both Norwegian and English, and eager to travel to engage directly with our customers.
