Who we are looking for
We’re looking for a Design Engineer to help define the future of accounting at Sanna. We need a builder who speaks both design and code to bring our AI-powered accounting vision to life, crafting the interface that makes complexity feel simple. Highlights
Why Sanna?
Sanna is building a new kind of accounting firm – designed from the ground up for a world where AI handles most of the manual work that has defined the industry for decades. We combine AI-driven workflows, modern technology, and deep professional expertise to deliver the peace of mind of a traditional accounting firm, while radically changing how the work is done behind the scenes.
We’re building Sanna with international scale in mind from day one. Starting with holding companies and expanding into operating companies, we’re creating a category-defining product in a domain where correctness, trust, and clarity are non-negotiable.
We’re a small, highly ambitious team building Sanna from Oslo with global reach. We value ownership, craft, and thoughtful speed – knowing when to move fast and when to be precise. Design is not a service function here; it’s a core part of how decisions are made and how quality is upheld across product and company.
Where Design Meets Code
About the role
At Sanna, we're not just iterating on existing accounting software – we're reimagining the entire workflow with AI at its core. The Design Engineer is a critical new role at the heart of this mission. You are the bridge between concept and reality, responsible for breathing life into our designs and ensuring the product feels as intelligent and effortless as the AI powering it. You will work end-to-end, taking ownership of the entire UI layer. This means you're not just a ticket-taker – you're a partner to both design and engineering. You'll contribute to the design process with your technical expertise and build a frontend that is both beautiful and scalable. In our high-stakes domain of accounting, the clarity, trust, and quality of the UI you build will directly define our success.
Is This You?
