SevenGen Investment Partners is a climate-focused growth investor supporting European scale-ups in the energy transition, decarbonising industries, circular materials, bio-based solutions and sustainable mobility. Founded by the former leadership team of ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund, SevenGen completed its first close in Q4-2025 with cornerstone investors European Investment Fund (EIF) and Invest International and is now expanding the investment team.
SevenGen invests in companies with proven products, strong unit economics and positive or near break-even EBITDA. The firm supports its portfolio through value creation, international expansion and selective buy-and-build strategies.
The climate transition is gaining momentum. Technologies are now proven and increasingly cost competitive. The key bottleneck is access to growth capital and operational support needed to scale these businesses into market leaders. SevenGen provides both, enabling established climate tech companies to accelerate growth and achieve measurable climate impact.
We are building a focused and ambitious investment firm with the long-term ambition to become a leading climate investor in North West Europe. With the first close completed, SevenGen is entering its growth phase and expanding the team that will help shape the firm for the years ahead. We work closely with founders and management teams to help them scale and realise their full potential.
Team and Culture
The team works from an office in the greater Amsterdam area to maintain close collaboration and short communication lines. SevenGen combines professionalism with an entrepreneurial and impact driven mindset. We aim to lead in climate investing, merging strong financial performance with measurable impact. We deliver consistently and build lasting relationships with founders, management teams, co-investors and advisors based on trust and reliability. We work in a focused but balanced way and do not have a face time culture. We hold ourselves to high standards while valuing clarity, trust and a good sense of humour. We aim for at least one third women in the team and actively welcome applications from candidates who bring diverse perspectives.
