We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own and evolve the Developer Experience. This includes CI/CD, build systems, automated testing, static analysis, quality gates, and release automation. You will build the pipelines, internal tools, and test frameworks that enable us to ship quality products faster and with greater confidence, on an infrastructure designed to scale with our fleet.
This is a hands-on role where you work in sprints, closely with the tech teams. Your success is measured by the quality of what reaches our customers: reliable releases to robots in the field, trustworthy tests, and faster builds.
What you will do
π οΈ
Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines and build systems across the entire stack, from robot to cloud, designed to scale across multiple robot types.
π§ͺ
Build test frameworks and pipelines that run unit, integration, on-target, and hardware-in-the-loop tests. Teams write their tests; you ensure they are fast and reliable.
π
Automate the build and release process across the stack.
β¨
Develop tools, quality gates, and static analysis that improve code quality without slowing down developers.
π
Make builds reproducible and pipelines measurable: tracking build time, failure rate, and flaky tests, visible to developers.
β‘
Reduce build times, eliminate flaky tests, and shorten the path from commit to running on a robot.
π€
Work with developers across the tech teams to find and remove bottlenecks in how we build, test, and ship.
π
Develop monorepo conventions, project structure, and shared workflows together with the tech teams.
What we are looking for
π―
You care about the quality of what reaches our customers, and you build tools that make good practice the easy path for every developer.
π§
Strong engineering judgment and a preference for reusable infrastructure that serves the entire fleet, rather than single-purpose pipelines.
π
Methodical debugging, a high bar for correctness, and pragmatism in working within an existing stack.
π£οΈ
Strong collaboration across the engineering organization and clear technical communication in fluent English.
Our tech stack
βοΈ
Languages
C++, C, Python, Bash, Rust
π€
Robotics & middleware
ROS 1, ROS 2, CAN bus, MQTT, gRPC
π₯οΈ

π οΈ
Build & tooling
CMake, colcon, catkin, ament, Git, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Claude Code
What we offer
π
A role where the tools you build are used by every team and on every robot we ship.
π
An international team.
