Proven experience in revenue operations, growth engineering, or GTM systems at a B2B software company, with systems you built yourself and can walk us through
Hands-on command of the modern GTM stack — HubSpot (or equivalent CRM), Clay, Apollo, enrichment and sequencing tools — as the person who builds in them, not the person who files tickets about them
A hands-on obsession with AI: you experiment with new models, agents, and automation tools weekly, and you have strong opinions about what is real and what is noise
An engineer’s approach to operations: you think in systems, document what you build, and design processes that hold up when the team triples
Comfort with technical work — APIs, webhooks, data transformations, scripting where useful — even if you would not call yourself a software engineer
Strong judgment on process design: you know when to automate, when to keep a human in the loop, and when the answer is deleting a step entirely
Clear communicator who can align sales, marketing, product, and outside agencies around how the machine works and why
Excited to own this domain outright at an early stage and grow with it

About the job

As GTM Engineer at Laine, you will own the machinery of how we go to market. You will sit at the intersection of sales, marketing, product, client success, and our external agencies, and build the systems that connect them: the CRM, the enrichment and outbound engine, the automations, the reporting, and the processes that make a growing revenue team run cleanly. This is a builder’s role, part engineering and part operations, for someone with a hands-on obsession with AI and what it makes newly possible. Where others see a manual process, you see an automation. Where others see disconnected tools, you see a system waiting to be designed. The stack you build will be the difference between a team that scales and a team that stalls.

Own the Tech Stack

Own the go-to-market tech stack end to end — HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, and the surrounding tools — including architecture, administration, integrations, and what we adopt next

Design the Revenue Engine

Design and build the processes that run the revenue engine: lead routing, enrichment, sequencing, deal stages, handoffs from marketing to sales to onboarding to client success

Automate with AI

Build automations and AI-driven workflows throughout the funnel — list building, research, personalization, follow-up, reporting — so the team spends its time selling and serving, not on manual work

Connect the Teams

Sit in the middle of product, marketing, sales, client success, and our agencies, translating what each needs into systems that serve all of them

Build the Reporting

Build the reporting the team runs on — pipeline visibility, attribution, and the dashboards that show what’s working
