J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
An active Texas Bar license is a mandatory requirement.
At least 4 years of experience as an attorney in a US law firm and/or in-house role, with a strong focus on contractual and/or corporate matters.
Strong, autonomous contract drafting and review skills across commercial and corporate agreements in English.
Nice to Have
Thrives working independently and asynchronously in a fast-paced startup environment.
Experience in AI, Tech, or LegalTech companies.
Familiarity with contract automation, template-based drafting, or review of automated outputs.
Excellent legal drafting skills in Spanish.

About the job
We are seeking a talented and experienced Contract Attorney to join our growing LegalTech team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and refining our AI-driven contract drafting platform. You'll apply your deep expertise in US contract law to enhance our automated outputs, working at the intersection of law and technology. This is a unique in-house position with no litigation, no client representation, and no billable hours.
Draft, review, and revise a wide range of contracts governed by US law with a high level of autonomy and precision.
Identify legal drafting issues and propose improvements to enhance the quality and reliability of contract templates and automated outputs.
Provide structured legal input to guide the development and refinement of our AI-assisted contract drafting tools.
Ensure all contractual outputs align with US and Texas legal requirements and best practices.
Work independently and asynchronously in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.
