Relevant experiences

3-5+ years in product management, preferably in SaaS or marketplace environments.

Proven experience working in multi-jurisdiction, regulation-heavy industries like legaltech or fintech.

Technical fluency and a history of effective collaboration with engineering teams.

Strong UX acumen with a sense for complex B2B and B2C workflows.

Data proficiency with the ability to define, monitor, and act on key product metrics.

Excellent stakeholder management skills across legal, development, and business teams.

Nice to Have

A startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and launching MVPs.

Previous exposure to generative-AI product flows (prompting, generation logic, review loops).

Experience with network-model platforms connecting different user groups.

Familiarity with launching products in multiple geographies and handling localisation.

About the job

As Product Lead, you will lead the product roadmap and execution for Laine’s core drafting platform and associated workflows (client UI, lawyer UI, backend drafting engine). You’ll ensure alignment between engineering, legal innovation, user experience, marketing and business goals, driving stable, meaningful improvement over time.

We are looking for a Product Lead to join our team. This is not a supporting role or a "backlog management" position. You will be the architect of our product’s trajectory, bridging the gap between strategy and hands-on execution.

Define and Prioritise the Product Roadmap

Define, maintain, and prioritise the product roadmap for our core drafting workflows, contract generation engine, lawyer terminal, and client terminal.

Execution & Engineering Liaison

Work closely with the CEO, CTO, and engineering to translate the product roadmap into actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Innovation & Lawyer Liaison

Gather and synthesise input from lawyers, clients, and internal stakeholders to refine features and ensure rigorous jurisdictional compliance.

Obsess over UX

Ensure our "Lawyer Terminal" and "Client UI" are world-class. You believe professional legal tools should be as elegant as the best consumer apps.

The Role Purpose

As our Product Lead, you will be the central force guiding LAINE’s core drafting platform and its associated workflows (client UI, lawyer UI, and the backend drafting engine). Your primary responsibility is to ensure seamless alignment between our engineering power, legal innovation, user experience design, and overarching business goals. You are the architect of stable, meaningful progress, leading the charge as we build the next generation of generative AI tools that will redefine the legal industry.
