Relevant experiences

Proven experience in product development, from concept to production.

High proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically Solidworks.

Strong understanding of DFM/A (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) principles.

Experience applying project management methodologies in a development context.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

About the job

ROEST is seeking a highly motivated Product Development Engineer to be an integral part of our development team. You will work on cutting-edge technology for the coffee industry, contributing to taking coffee roasting into a new age of technology by designing, developing, and validating our innovative products.

Design, develop, and test a game-changing new electrical coffee roaster. Project start Q3 2026.

Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Solidworks for prototyping and manufacturing.

Collaborate directly with the production team to implement and refine DFM/A principles.

Build and validate physical prototypes to rigorously test new concepts and technologies.

Participate in the full product lifecycle, from initial ideation and sketching to mass production and support.
