Who we are looking for
Appfarm is accelerating internationally. We're looking for a Head of Expansion to own our commercial growth strategy in the UK and Nordics beyond Norway - someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and hands-on execution.
Highlights
We are looking for someone who has:
4-6+ years of experience from either management consulting or business development driving GTM and market entry in a tech context.
Experience with commercial expansion activities and projects, including building local presence in new international markets that enables early momentum.
Strong knowledge of GTM strategies and/or operations in a B2B tech context - from ICP and positioning to playbooks, pipeline motions, and enablement.
Fluency in English.
Genuine curiosity for AI tools and how they can improve GTM work - from research and outreach to enablement, pipeline motion, and execution.
It's an advantage if you:
Have proficiency in a Scandinavian language.
Are results-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and gets things done.
Combine a sharp analytical mindset and structured execution with commercial instinct and people skills that make things happen in new markets.
Want to move from making slides for a living to instead leading the operative work that achieves commercial success in new markets.
The role as Head of Expansion
This is a newly created role at Appfarm, designed to ensure successful and structured international expansion activities. You will drive GTM planning and execution across our target markets - coordinating with HQ teams, supporting and scaling local commercial activities, and reporting on progress as we move from market entry to growth.
Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our strategy for international expansion. You’ll drive key strategic projects and ensure execution stays on track - all in service of building and scaling our UK and Nordics go-to-market. You’ll be based out of our HQ in Oslo, with regular travel to our international hubs to drive execution locally.
